Whilst Cheaphost provide all services from this website in compliance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (which guarantees that any goods purchased for personal use may be returned if considered faulty, for repair, replacement or refund of purchase price within a reasonable period of time as defined by the Act), the services we provide are electronic and cannot be returned. If a hosting service we provide is verifiably deemed faulty, we will replace the service with an equivalent package without charge. Domain name purchases cannot be returned under any circumstances.
Notification to cancel your account needs to be made by the end of the preceding month. Please submit a support ticket at http://www.cheaphost.co.nz from the account holder email address stating you want to cancel. Provide your userid so we can validate cancellation was requested by an authorized individual. Please be sure to remove any data you want to retain, since once we cancel the account the data is lost. You may also cancel your account through our online interface, by logging in and next to your service click cancel.
Cheaphost take pride in the service we provide and are under no obligation to provide refunds following a purchase unless we are unable to provide the service described. However, if you are not satisfied with our web hosting services for any reason, and you contact us within the first ten days of your contract, you will be given a full refund of the contract amount, excluding any setup fees and overages. You will need to provide the reason for cancellation.
You must notify Cheaphost before or within seven days of the Renewal Date on your contract if you wish to cancel an account. Cheaphost does not offer prorated refunds for cancellation requests submitted after ten days of the renewal date.
Domain name registration fees are not refundable.
All refunds are at the discretion of the Cheaphost Hosting Manager. Should you wish to discuss a refund, please either contact us or follow our disputes procedure.
